I had worked, since college, at Franciscan Health Indianapolis for 38 years in maternity and medical-surgical. As we all know, Covid hit, and hospital nursing became very hard and scary. I talked to Terri Sall at Woodland Terrace of New Palestine and decided it was time for a change. So, I retired from Franciscan Health and 5 days later I started working with Assisted Living and Memory Care. It is such a delight getting to know the residents and their stories. And by the way, kudos to all the staff

What I like best about working for Justus is how much they care about their employees. Working for Justus is truly an honor. I came from working for a company that did not care about their employees. Now, when I come to work every day, it doesn’t feel like work because I truly enjoy my job and my great team at Copper Ridge.

Justus has gone above and beyond to care for our seniors and our employees at Woodland Terrace of Carmel. The leadership team is very engaged with the community and know many of our residents and employees by name. They work to develop leaders throughout the company no matter their title and work with staff to continue growing their career. The longevity of many of our team members shows the dedication of our staff.

I moved my mother into one of the buildings at Crestwood Village South. A few years later, I read in their monthly newsletter that they were building an Assisted Living building that would include a full-service dining room. So, I got my resume together and applied, and I have not looked back.
